不是假期的假期。

久违了的太阳出现了。
可是洗衣粉却没了。

大家考完试不是逛街就是吃大餐。
我却起早八早就爬起来去公共图书馆。

沿路的商店都关着。
可玻璃窗却贴满sales...70%reduction...further reduction...
什么屁都在大减价。

data entry的速度比想象中来得慢很多。
估计还要来图书馆4-5天。

Examsss

The whole exam period was a nightmare.
I've got 3 finals and 2 assignments in a week...
had been camping around univ for a few weeks...
woke up at 7am, back home at almost 12midnight..
and the univ was still full of people....
everyone is crazy studying...

that day I was studying in that room all alone...

We need some carbohydrate and sugar to concentrate... Bought some cakes and breads to univ... eating Shin Ramyun is one of the choice for dinner too... plus free coffee and tea from the Graduate School of Business..

Imagine reading the boring papers... it just keep you asleep.... plus you gotta keep the reference.. and summarise some papers... and you tend to forgot which important point is from which papers... Modigliani and Miller (1958), Jensen (1986), Easterbrook (1984), Shleifer and Vishny (1997), Rozeff (1982), Miller (1985), Lintner (1956), Warther (1993). Nguyen and Harada (2001), Dewenther and Warther (1998), .....
Calculations... Econometrics is never easy... regressions models... binomial distributions... maximum likelihood... time series model... cross-sectional models... estimating equations.... White test... heteroskedasticity... auxilliary regressions.... Granger causality test... univariate time series model.. Ramsey test... Jacque Bera test...

Presentation preparation...Reading and understanding... It's even harder when you gotta expressing your thoughts on something you don't know... i hate presenting academics paper.... I don't even understand the methodology they used to prove the tests.... and i tend to get caught up on the questions from the lecturer...

Proofing... Never ending proofing... Taylors expansions... utility functions... got my results back today.
the lecturer is really kind and generous!
one of the 4 questions that i thought i'll be getting 0/25, he gave 4/25.
and i got a total of 74/100, while average was 75/100 for 7 people in the class.
wasn't that bad, right? haha... kinda relieved.... dont know why i worried so much!
but the lecturer said he was kinda disappointed on my result as he expected much higher.
well well... gotta do better next time lor.. cant help with my bodoh-ness ma.... :P

btw,
its GRADUATION DAY today!
many friends from Malaysia came back for graduation.
rushed to tower building right after class at 5pm to take photos with some friends.
and rushed back to class again at 6pm...
it's good to see everyone dressing up for graduation.
flowers, teddy bears and testimonials everywhere...
and the weather is cooling n windy... which is good.
hahaha....
