what can i say abt sydney?
went chinatown right after i touched down sydney today... along the way, houses n apartments are so different... not much tall buildings... n the style are sooo much different... roads aren't that big in the city but clean...lotsa ppl walking on the road... its a mixture of chinese, japanese, korean, vietnamese, indonesian, n a little ang mo.. hahaha.... i think i'd heard more than 5 languages today: english, mandarin, cantonese, japanese, korean, vietnamese, bahasa indo... haha... australia is really a weird place with soooo many different races of people around... dunno how to say this place... definitely not ang-mo soh zai... (
in hokkien)
who i met today?
siewfang ! haha... it had been exactly a year since i last met her.. it was at the kb airport with jq... feb 2006... hahaha... she brought me around the campus n here n there... all i can say is.. all road name n suburbs n everything is so new to me... i don even think i know the way go to enrol for my orientation... omg...i need a map...
what i ate today?
my roomie's friendly n nice brother brought us to eat dimsum (
they called it yumchar in sydney) at chinatown for lunch.. so crowded.. hahaha... n weird... coz there is angmo speaking english at our left, korean behind us, hongkong-ies speaking cantonese in front of us, n the waiter speaking china-mandarin.. haha... its such a multi-national city... dinner is great too ! thanks again to sally n minyen... haha.. vietnam food... i'd never tried vietnam food in kl before... this is my first time n i think its GREAT ! haha..its like a mixture of thai food n chinese food.. sour n spicy but not tat much like tahi... all ngam ngam... nice nice nice!!! hehe... but i found out that all the dishes served here is soooooo big in volume.. omg.. how can they expect ppl to finish tat tall of food? hahaha...
